Optimize Manufacturing Workflows, NPI Implementation, and Production Efficiency for Air-Conditioner Outdoor Units (ODU)
Join Carrier as a Process Engineer (Outdoor) in Pathum Thani, Thailand. Operating within the manufacturing operations division, this role focuses on optimizing assembly workflows, line efficiency, and quality control for Outdoor Unit (ODU) air conditioning systems. You will troubleshoot shop-floor bottlenecks, support New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, apply Lean/continuous improvement methodologies, and ensure safety and engineering compliance across rotating shift schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze outdoor unit assembly line metrics to identify bottlenecks and execute process improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot shop-floor operational issues, performing root cause analyses and applying corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) on production lines, ensuring smooth tooling, workflow setup, and process implementation.
- Maintain and enforce compliance with manufacturing quality standards, engineering specifications, and workplace safety protocols.
- Lead cost-reduction and Lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce cycle times and waste.
