Lead Automation Systems Design, PLC/SCADA Integration, and Smart Factory Robotics Initiatives across High-Volume Manufacturing Operations

In this advanced smart-manufacturing role, you will design, program, and scale automated machinery, robotic cells, and control architectures across the plant floor. Working closely with Manufacturing Engineering, IT, and Maintenance teams, you will troubleshoot complex PLC/SCADA control faults, integrate vision systems, lead capital equipment upgrades, and drive Industry 4.0 / IIoT connectivity initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, program, and implement control architectures using PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, industrial robotics, and vision inspection systems.
- Lead the physical integration, programming, and optimization of automated production equipment and multi-axis industrial robots.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system faults across industrial networks, control hardware, and automation software.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance teams to engineer system retrofits and production line upgrades.
- Author comprehensive technical documentation, including program logic, electrical schematics, P&IDs, and operating procedures.
- Champion Industry 4.0 smart-factory integration, linking shop-floor control systems to enterprise IIoT networks.
